Profile Summary

Dr. Md Roushon Jamal is an internationally focused Agriculturist, competent researcher, PRINCE2 qualified project manager, change-making organizational leader, and innovative training expert. As a senior member of the Bangladesh Civil Service, Mr. Jamal has been working in the Department of Agriculture Extension (www.dae.gov.bd), Ministry of Agriculture (www.moa.gov.bd), Bangladesh since 2003. The substantive role of his position is as an Agriculture Officer (Ag Tech expert, policymaker, and management leader) with a primary focus on disseminating Ag Tech innovations to farmers. He has achieved a strong understanding of global challenges and policies in agriculture, resilience, food security, and sustainable development through collaboration with international organizations. Through his studies and work experience, Mr. Jamal has gained significant expertise in Ag Tech innovations, policymaking, regulations, control, and management. Through his doctoral research, he has gained expertise in climate and environmental challenges, their impacts on resilient cropping systems, ecosystems, livelihoods, and adaptation strategies.
